Today I started to do the research and planning for the CD/DVD Cover on prezi. Meaning I started analysing "Fashawn - The Ecology" front cover.

In class today we showed our rough copy of our music video. After showing it we got some feedback that would be able to help us with our music video. What we need to do :   Add more effects that fit with the cutting rate add more colour  Feedback received : What went well: Like the way we used outline  Used reverse Liked the black and white earthquake effect God performance What we need to improve on:  Shots are two bright Grainy clips Should they add more of the effect they did on "after effects"? Effects on after effects kept getting deleted  Shots in the studio were grainy - try add colour effect - makes it more grainy Add more colour filter in some of the graffiti scenes. Minor lip sync problems

Today we had a team meeting and we were looking at examples of CD covers and analysing them. The reason why we did this is because it would  help us as individuals to create a CD cover for our artist which is Edweezy. Down below is an example of a cd we looked at.

Today was the last day of editing. It was stressful as we had a lot of clips to add due to the empty gaps. So due to that Eleanor, Jadar and Edward went to record therefore we could get more clips and whilst they were doing that i stayed to edit. Once the shots were recorded, Edward filled in the empty gaps.. In addition I had to add more effects which some of them had to be done on after effects. Eleanor and Jadar changed the font of the name of the artist and the title of the song therefore it went well with the clip.

As Edward recorded again, we realised that the quality of the shots taken were still grainy and dark. So due to this I came up with an idea that we should not use the bedroom location and it was not cooperating. So due to this I though of an idea to record in the film room in college as there was good lighting and all we really needed was Edward sitting on the table with the a pen, pad and his phone. So at lunch time Edward and I booked the film room and recorded. At the end we got the shots we wanted and after  I went to edit the clips in by myself.

Today in lesson I looked at the shots that were taken in Leake Street. Edward, Eleanor and I started editing linking back to our storyboard. There was difficulties as the recorded video was not going in time with the music. However, Eleanor fixed it and it was then in time. We still had empty spaces as we were waiting for Edward to record the bedroom scene again.

The day before we all decided that we were all free to record for Wednesday. However, when it got to Wednesday morning there was conflict between a team member and I. The shooting day then got changed to Friday which I am not able to attend as I am going to be busy working. So due to that Edward, Eleanor and Jadar are going to film on Friday in Leake Street.

As Edward came back with the clip he recorded in his bedroom. We noticed that the quality of the shots werent as good as we were hoping as it was quite dark grainy.  There was teddy bear hand up on his wall that we didn't want in the music video. All camera angles werent taken Wardrobe door open So due to that we asked if Edward could re-record the clip and he agreed as that was the only room that had all the equipment showed in the storyboard.

Today in class we started editing with Premiere Pro. Since it was all our first time, we found it hard to use the software. So due to this Jadar decided that she didnt want to edit as she didnt know how to use the software, however, Edward, Eleanor and I gave it a try. Below are pictures of our progress

Today we filmed at bakers arm, in this way we were able to get the shots we needed that related to the storyboard. As we were recording, we included the crown prop that we bought at the 99P shop down the road. We got a princess crown instead of a king crown as we werent able to find one.

Today was the first day we shooted which was in the studio in college. Here are some pictures.  As one of our location is Edward's house. Edward decided to take the camera home and record. However, we are deciding to reshoot the scene as Edward didn't get to shoot all the camera angles we wanted and he also didn't like the teddy bear on the wall. So due to that one of us are going to follow Edward home to reshoot the shoot.

We created a Whatsapp group chat so in that way we can easily communicate with our team members and have group meetings with we are not together. In this way we can send  pictures, book appointments and message each other. We have meetings on Whatsapp and ask each other if we have completed everything we were supposed to do and share our ideas.  That group chat has all our production team in it, Edward, Jadar, Moshope and I. In this conversation I was asking Edward and Jadar if they completed the task they were supposed to do because if they didn't complete it, we wouldnt have been able to start filming. So this shows that I was on top of everything and made sure everything was going to plan. In this conversation I was asking Jadar if she put the call sheet on her blog so in that way the rest of our team members were able to access it and put it on our blog. Today Edward took the camera home, in order for him to film the bedroom scene. There wasnt a day where we were able to all go to his house to record as we were all busy and we weren't all free at the same time. So due to this we asked Edward if he was able to go home to record with the help of his brother.
