Today in lesson we edited the clips we took from when we started filming. We decided to try and add as much effects and take as much clips as possible in order to make it as creative as possible. When it came to the editing we took turns in for all of us to add in our own personal ideas. When it came to editing on Premiere Pro, I learnt a  lot of new editing skills and how to add different elements into the clip.

Today we learnt how to use the DSLR cameras and the main tips that we should know when it comes to setting up the camera. For example changing the lighting when it comes to different locations. In order to set the camera correctly, the following steps had to be made. 1. Set the correct video settings: Press menu on the first slide go to image quality and set it to a symbol which looks like a quarter pie and an L next to it. 2. Set the correct video settings: Flick across a couple slides to Movie Rec size and set to 1920x1080 25. 3. Set the lens to MF: On the side of the lens is a little switch, flick it to MF from AF. Focusing the lens whilst in AF can damage the lens. 4. Set the manual: Roll the wheel on the top of the camera till the M lines up with the little dash on top of the camera. 5. Shutter speed: Use the scroll wheel (no the wheel above) by the shutter release to adjust shutter speeds. 50 is perfect for film. 6. ISO: Ch...

This music video was sang by one man called Cadet who is and known for a grime artist, however, he did something different out of the usual. The music video is about how Cadet got into an argument with his cousin "Krept" know is another grime artist in the music industry. So due to this he decided to create a slow paced music video which explained how he felt instead of telling Krept in person as he felt like everyone needed to know the situation. Overall, this music video is very emotional and it says a lot about how a lot of families and friendship' get ruined all due to competition in the music industry. In class today we decided on a song to do for our practice music video. The music video we chose today was Lady Leshurr - Queen Speech 2. We decided to make a group of four, two of us in the video and the other two recording and monitoring the camera. The reason why we decided to do this song is because for our actual music video, we were thinking of doing the same genre which is grime. So by doing this we would be able to get a better knowledge and understanding on the timing and techniques.

The music video was sang by two men called Usher who is known as a R&B and Hip Hop artist and Young Thug who is known as a Hip Hop artist. The music video is about there being "no limit" and that you shouldn't let anything or anyone get in your way of achieving the greatest. Type of Video:   This video is a performance based clip. The reason why I say this is because the music video involves a lot of dancing. The theme portrayed is having hope and faith. The reason why I say this is because in the clip what is denoted in the music video is black men. This music video was sang by one man called Bobby Shmurda who a Hip Hop artist, who got arrested last year due to the fact that New York City Police arrested "Pollard" (Bobby) and charged him as this track is about how he had conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. So due to this he hasn't been producing music recently. Type of Video: This video is a performance based clip.One thing I noticed was that the music video had a  bit of dancing going on. In addition I would  say that the music video was also narrative based as he was talking about how  he was going to go about with a specific situation.  The theme portrayed is gang.
